How to download all the images in a Webflow CMS collection
Webflow can export a CMS collection as a CSV, but the file holds links to your images, not the images themselves. Here is where the links are, the free way to download them, and a faster way.
Before you start
- You can open the CMS panel in the Webflow Designer for the site.
- You know which collection holds the images, such as Products or Blog Posts. Each collection is exported on its own.
- On a localized site, you’ll export each locale that has its own images.
- Your site’s assets are still in place. Export before deleting items or the site.
- Webflow DesignerCMS → the collection → Export → Download CSV
- Collection CSVYour image fields, links separated by “; ”
- ParcelFinds the image columns; asks you to check when unsure
- One ZIPA folder per item, each photo saved once
Where the image links are
- Export: in the Designer, open CMS, choose the collection and click Export. Webflow shows a Download CSV button and also emails you a link.
- Columns: after Webflow’s own columns (Name, Slug, Item ID and so on) come your fields, under the names you gave them. Image fields hold one link; multi-image fields hold several, separated by a semicolon and a space. File fields can hold photos too, next to documents such as PDFs.
- Locales: on a localized site the export holds the locale you are viewing. Export each locale that has its own images.
- Repeats: if you used the same upload in two fields, such as Main Image and Thumbnail, both cells hold the same link.
| Name | Slug1 | Item ID | Main Image2 | Gallery3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trail Mug | trail-mug | 64a1… | https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/…/mug-1.jpg | https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/…/mug-2.jpg; https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/…/mug-3.jpg |
| Tea Towel | tea-towel | 64a2… | https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/…/towel-1.png |
Columns without a note are left out here; your file has them too.
- Slug names each item’s folder. An item without a slug uses its Item ID.
- Main Image is one of your own fields: an image field holds a single link. Your field names may differ.
- Gallery is a multi-image field: several links in one cell, separated by a semicolon and a space.
The free manual method
- Export the collection as above and open the CSV in a spreadsheet.
- Copy the image columns, split the multi-image cells at the semicolons, and remove repeated links.
- Paste the links into a bulk-download browser extension or a download script.
- Sort the files into a folder per item and rename them. The files keep their upload names after a long asset ID, but nothing in them says which item they belong to.
This is fine for a small collection. For a large one the splitting, de-duplicating and sorting take a long time, and a failed download is easy to miss.

Each file starts with a long asset ID, repeats come down twice, and nothing says which item a file belongs to.
Parcel

- trail-mug/

- trail-mug-2.jpg
- trail-mug-3.jpg
- tea-towel/
- tea-towel-1.png
- manifest.csv
A folder per item named after its slug, each photo once, and a spreadsheet of every image.
The faster way: Parcel
Upload the same CSV to Parcel. It finds the image columns (and asks you to check them when it isn’t sure), then gives you one ZIP:
- One folder per item, with each photo saved once
- Files named by the item’s slug or SKU
- An image details spreadsheet listing every image with its link and item
- A failed-downloads report listing any image that could not be fetched
Parcel never asks for your Webflow login.
What it costs
Only items with at least one image count. Up to 25 of them is free; larger collections are a one-time $9, $19, or $39 depending on how many items have images. No subscription.
- 10,000images per export
- 20 MBlargest single image
- 300 MBof images, free export
- 1 GBof images, paid export
Files stay available for 24 hours after the export is ready.
If something goes wrong
- Parcel asks “Which columns hold your images?”
- Your field names are your own, so Parcel guesses which columns hold images. Tick the columns with your photos and untick any that don’t.
- Parcel says “Choose a .csv file exported from a Webflow CMS collection”
- The file isn’t a CMS collection export. Export again from CMS → the collection → Export and upload that file without editing it.
- Parcel says some links were skipped
- Parcel downloads Webflow images from
cdn.prod.website-files.com. Links to other sites are counted on screen and left out; save those by hand. - SVG or TIFF files are in failed-downloads.csv
- Parcel can’t download those formats. Save them from Webflow’s asset panel by hand. PDFs, ZIPs and videos in file fields are left out on purpose.
- Images for one language are missing
- The export holds the locale you were viewing. Switch locale in the Designer, export again, and upload that file as its own export.
Questions
Can I download all images from a Webflow site?
Not in one click. Export each CMS collection as a CSV and download the links in its image fields, with a browser extension, a script, or Parcel. Images placed directly on static pages aren’t in a CMS export.
Are draft items included?
Yes. Webflow’s export includes draft items, so their images are downloaded too.
What happens when the same image is in two fields?
Parcel saves it once per item, so a photo used as both Main Image and Thumbnail isn’t duplicated.
Does the export include alt text?
No. Webflow’s CMS export has no alt text, so Parcel’s image details spreadsheet has none for Webflow items.
Does Parcel need my Webflow login?
No. You export the CSV yourself and upload it. Nothing is installed on your site.
Parcel is an independent tool, not affiliated with Webflow.
